Approved by The R&A for the payment of expenses - Rule 4-2g RA/03/2020.

Note: The R&A grants approval for the payment of expenses only in terms of the Rules of Amateur status and such approval should not be considered as any general approval or endorsement of the competition or its organisers and/or promoters.

Notes:

  • ‘Contact by’ deadline: the home team must make contact with the away team and offer dates on or before the contact by deadline. After this date, whichever team makes initial contact may claim home advantage.
  • ‘Play by’ deadline: the match must be played on or before the play by deadline. No match extensions will be granted.
  • Player substitutions: due to the Covid pandemic substitutions can be made in round 2 only. Winning second round players must play in all subsequent rounds.
  • Age restriction: all players must be 18 or over on 1st January 2020 in order to be eligible for the competition.
